Spryjinx
You haven't seen anything like this game before! It's different - it's Spryjinx. A simple yet extremely fun vertical scrolling game for 1 or 2 players. This must be one of the funniest and most addictive freeware games I have ever played (and still play)!

Spud Invaders
This game only needs one explicit explanation; a spud is a potatoe (slang). The rest of Spud Invaders just reinforces that Space Invaders, its ancestor, is immortal and timeless and you will likely join the undead before this game and similar clones will cease to be popular and appreciated. Spud Invaders presents smooth gameplay with original sound effects. It's not easy with only 3 lives and especially in the end phase of a wave (level) when the spuds move mighty fast. Can you reach Wave 2 as I did?

Tower of the Sorcerer
Help, I can't stop playing this RPG - it's fun, challenging and addictive! Rescue the beautiful princess (she's hidden somewhere in the Sorcerer's tower). Battle zombies, vampires, skeletons, demonic priests, and more. Use keys, elixirs, magic orbs, and many other objects. Use gold to buy items or to increase your strength (by offering it to the altar). Interact with characters to get information and objects. There are 50 stages. Features include mouse or keyboard control, save/load game, help, tips, and a high scores list. Speed, size, and font are adjustable.
Tower of the Sorcerer requires logic, problem-solving skills, and patience. Some parts might seem impossible, but they can be done. Here are a few hints to get you started: Get the sword from the 5th floor and the shield from the 9th floor FIRST! Be patient after encountering the "Magic Sergeant Zeno"; the game appears to be over, but it's not.
NOTES:The English used in this game is occasionally hard to understand because Tower of the Sorceror was made by Japanese programmers. It's a minor nuisance that doesn't really interfere with the game. ALSO, the help section within the game is in Japanese; but the help section on the start menu is in English (Start-> Programs-> Tower of the Sorcerer).

Wormlings
Wormlings was created by Daniel Schlyder for an Allegro Size Hack
Competition in which the games author must make the best game possible and yet keep it under 10KB. Well, maybe all games should have this restriction (j/k, of course) because
Wormlings is one of the best multi-player games around. That's an
especially good thing, since there is no AI at all, as that would have caused the game to go over the 10KB mark.
The gameplay in Wormlings consists of you and up to 3 friends (total of 4 players) to take the role of worm-like lines of different colors. There are balls bouncing around the screen with you as well. The idea of the game is to stay alive as long as possible by not bumping head-on into any of your opponents or any of the balls. Your worm is consistently growing with each
second, so it gets pretty hard after a while, since the screen will be almost full at times. This leads to very simple, yet strategic game play, as it is alot of fun to trap your opponents with your own worm's body, forcing them to crash. Of course, you also must avoid getting trapped yourself. The game is very customizable so you can adjust EVERYTHING in the game to
suit your taste or crank up or down the difficulty.
The graphics are surprisingly good for a game this small. While nothing will make you say "Wow!", this games is by no means ugly. Animation is also very fluid, but occasionaly it got jerky. Could just be my PC, though. There is no sound, one of the few prices that must be paid for having such a small game with this much overall quality. Still, it hardly detracts
from the game at all.
Bottom Line: Excellent. Despite having had to spare a couple of things (AI and sound), which would have possibly gotten this game a 9, it is still an extremely fun game to play with your friends. Each player only takes up two buttons, so four can squish around one keyboard and not be TOO uncomfortable. Two thumbs in the air, pointing towards the heavens.
Note: The file that I am giving you for download is not the 7KB version, which is the original one made for the competition. If you want that one, you can get it at the author's homepage.
