Fun Run   
This is an awesome car racing game in 3D simulation! It was produced as a promotion for Karstadt (a German company). Your goal is as simple as it is fun: Drive down road as fast as you can - just let loose and be wild behind the wheel! The installation is in German, but just select the defaults everywhere ("Weiter" and "Ja") and you will be ok.

Racer 
Racer, despite the unoriginal name, is a very nice 3D racing game for 1 or 2 players. You have a nice variety of cars, tracks and various styles of play, pluss, the graphics and sounds are very well done, wich combined, gives you a nice fun gaming experience.
In the single player option, you can choose between career mode, training mode, and a cup. While playing career mode, your goal is to win money to buy new and better cars that you can use in furture races. In training, you basicly just race on various tracks, and try to beat the AI. The cup mode is very similar to career mode, the only differences being that you can customize the game settings more and that you can't buy a new car throughout the cup. The multiplayer mode is almost the same, just that you don't have career mode. Unfortunately, I didn't get to try this mode, even though it seemed like alot of fun.
I found both the graphics and sound very good, and I can't really think of much too improve. The AI was also well written, which is something that lacks in today's games of this genre. So, if your a racing game lover, this is a game for you!
NOTE: There's a Czech version of the game at the author's homepage. Also, if you browse the Czech version of the website, you'll have access to more games than if you use the English one, plus you can view the source code.

Freeride Thrash
Freeride Thrash is a 3D racing game with futuristic ships (not cars). The 3D graphics gives you an awesome feeling of reality as you run down the track at full speed! It's basically about completing the track at the shortest time possible. If you hit the curb of the road then your ship will slow down. This game was developed for a game competition and at this time the game would be considered completed. This is the reason why you only have 2 ships to choose from. Each of the ships has specific features on power,cornering and weight. The computer ships all have a skill-level of average which really was pretty advanced for me. You can play in single-mode or with 5 other ships which are computer controlled. The game would have been rated 5/5 with more tracks and more ships.

Pakoon! 2 
Ever drive a Mercedes-Benz down mount Everest? No? Neither have I. But it would probably be pretty fun...up until the minute you die, anyways.
Pakoon! 2 gives you the chance to drive one of seven cool cars down one of seven beautiful mountains, ranging across the whole world. The game throws all realism out the window in the name of fun, as you'll speed down impossibly steep slopes at 200 MPH without ever losing traction. The real draw about this game is that it actually feels like you're going 200 MPH, a feat that some commercial games don't even accomplish. There are 3 modes in Pakoon! 2: Speed Race, Slalom, and Air Time, but you'll probably spend most of your time in Speed Race. The other modes are ok, but not as fun as Speed Race. Sadly, the game doesn't have computer AI to race against, forcing you instead to race against your own track ghost. If there were computer opponents, Pakoon! 2 might have achieved a perfect score. Even still, racing against a track ghost is more fun in this game than it is in many others, so Pakoon! 2 scores a solid 8/10.
Pakoon! 2's graphics are really a sight to behold. Even on the low-quality setting, each car is very detailed and every mountain looks sharp. There's even a day and night setting to choose from! Without a doubt, Pakoon! 2 looks as good as some of todays commercial games.
Pakoon! 2's sound is merely ok, and doesn't really add to- or subtract from- the experience. The game plays one tune over and over, no matter what mountain you're on. Luckily, it's not a bad tune, actually sort of catchy.
Pakoon! 2 is a fast and fun racer with beautful graphics and above average gameplay. I just wish there were some more racers on the mountain with me, instead of a track ghost. So therefore, Pakoon! 2 scores a solid 8/10.
