Quadra    
A valiant and highly working attempt to create an attractive Tetris clone. One of the strongest feature in this game is the ability to play online which is accompanied by a chat window. However, I reviewed this game in single mode, so I cannot further comment the online mode. The graphical rendering is both sweet and smooth for all 10 levels. If you are a narcisist (or not), you can happily use the playback option - at different speeds even.

Capman
This is the coolest pacman I have ever seen! In capman, you collect pellets just like in any other pacman game. You control pacman and are chased by bugs. But unlike pacman, you fight back with things like machine guns and explosives. There are other powerups for speed and bouncing bullets as well. However, the bugs can collect power-ups as well. But don't worry, capman doesn't die on the first hit, he has a health meter. Although this game is very violent, the blood can be turned off. It is capable of multiplayer play in deathmatch or eatmatch mode, over the internet, over a network, with a link cable, or modem to modem. It also allows two players to play on the same computer. If you've ever been frustrated by the ghosts always eating your character in other pacman games, then fight back with capman. Note that if you switch out of the capman window and then back again, the display takes a few seconds to reload. And the graphics are 3-d!

Forget everything you ever thought you knew about Pong, Breakout, and other 'break the brick' games. DX-ball delivers hard-hitting action to a highest degree of thrill. This game is one of my all-time favorites. DX-Ball comes with 50 levels.

Driftzone
Driftzone is a well-made game based on asteroids. It has an array of power-ups and has bonus levels every 5 levels in classic mode. The graphics are a combination of the pixelated graphics common to many ship games, various particle effects, and 3d vector graphics.
Note that Win3.1 version is an old, 46KB version of the game which uses vector graphics and can be considered a game with a 4/10 rating.

Hacker
Hacker will probably dazzle you beyond what any other Tetris game has done in the past! This is no cheap imitation to say the least. Accompanied by a cool techo beat in the background and impressive graphical scenery with heart-pumping concentration, this game can do some serious damage to your brain! You have 8 game options to choose from such as a unique 2-player setup where you play together on the same board with a friend. There is also a head-to-head mode and an Internet option (you need to know the host IP number). The game starts out slow but will increase in speed as you progress.
This latest version includes the feature that allows you to store your GameHippo hiscore in an encrypted dat file that you can submit to us.
