Egoboo   
Egoboo is really an awesome Zelda type game with very nice graphics and sounds (even human voices)! You walk around in this dungeon place with 3 dimensional rooms fighting with creatures using your weapons and magic spells and more.
There are 3 different character to play (Adventurer, Wizard, and Healer) each with certain inventory and powers. Read the Egoboo.txt file for the details. It will take you many hours to get a full insight in all the features of the game. Up to 3 players can play at the same time using the same keyboard.
This game can be played with or without a 3D video card. If your computer don't have hardware 3D support, then you can edit the file called Setup.txt. On the line that says Direct3D Device, change the word HAL to AMP. This will enable software mode, which is much slower but playable. As a final note, this game is 99% finished but when I played it, it felt like a finished version so you will probably never notice that.

Eternal Daughter
Eternal Daughter is a platform adventure which borrows a few ideas from Metroid and Castlevania. Your goal is to stop the Dungaga from enslaving your people. Eternal Daughter features several large bosses, weapons, and powerups. Eternal Daughter is more challenging than many similar freeware games, but the enemies are predictable enough to make this game beatable for those with patience. The graphics in Eternal Daughter are great and vary throughout the game.
This version makes the game a little easier.

Hacker 
Hacker will probably dazzle you beyond what any other Tetris game has done in the past! This is no cheap imitation to say the least. Accompanied by a cool techo beat in the background and impressive graphical scenery with heart-pumping concentration, this game can do some serious damage to your brain! You have 8 game options to choose from such as a unique 2-player setup where you play together on the same board with a friend. There is also a head-to-head mode and an Internet option (you need to know the host IP number). The game starts out slow but will increase in speed as you progress.
This latest version includes the feature that allows you to store your GameHippo hiscore in an encrypted dat file that you can submit to us.

Happyland X-mas Edition
The author of the more or less classic Happyland has released a X-mas version of the original Happyland game. The theme of some of the levels are X-mas decorated. It's a side scroller with large levels (a total of 5) and you have the option to create your own levels too. There are lots of various powerups too such as start, diamonds, low-gravity shoes and coins (to access bonus rooms). On the author's homepage many more levels can be downloaded. The Windows version runs in a rather small window which is the only drawback. Play this game and your X-mas Holiday will be filled with endless hours of fun!

IceBreaker
IceBreaker is a game that is boundlessly addictive to the degree that it can drive you up the wall! This game has been influenced by Jezzball but it's far-fetched to say that it's a traditional Jezznall game. At first glance I didn't think much about this game, but after a short time of playing I knew I was fooled and happily surprised to find out how the rudiments of the game could bring so much fun. Cut the iceberg into peaces to detain the bewildered penguins. I scored 178 points when reviewing this game (as evident from the screenshot). What's your score?
