Deep Space Intruder (DSI) is an awesome space shooting game with great 3D feeling. The game has all the ingredients to be addictive! It's not necessary to play with modem although it will give you the high score list.

Die Slave
Die Slave is a 3D side-scrolling shooter game. Like most Japanese shooters, you fly in a spaceship and destroy the hundreds of incoming enemies. A simple idea, but very fun. Die Slave takes this idea even further by introducing 3 different ship types, 5 cool weapons, and little helper ships. The game looks cool, plays great, and sounds excellent.
Youve got to love the grunge effect on the whole game. It gives it a futuristic look. The weapon graphics are fantastic, and the explosions will blow you away. There are just enough types of enemies to keep you addicted to the game, and the bosses are out-right cool. The explosion and weapon sounds will start to feel monotonous after extended periods of play, but the background music covers up for this.
The controls are very simple all you need to know are 3 buttons and the arrow keys. The interface in Die Slave is easy to use, giving you access to all the features in the game, with the exception of the controls. Those are changed using a separate program included with the game. Anyone should be able to play this game easily, even though the documentation is in Japanese.
There are 3 different ship types; the most noticeable difference being how many helper ships you have. All the ships can launch powerful missiles after lock-on, but some ships have more lock-on capabilities than the others. There are also 5 different types of weapons all the ships can use. These weapons position the helper ships differently, some weapons giving you full power front, others front and back, and one giving you 360 degrees of firepower. All the weapons have an over-drive mode. This saps power from your ship, but deals enormous amounts of damage to your enemies.
Although Die Slave offers varying difficulty settings, I find that even the normal setting is hard to play with. One shot will kill you, and there are many shots you cant dodge. The lower setting, easy, makes the game too easy by granting you nearly 1000 lives. The game is also semi-short, with only 6 stages.
Presentation: 7/10 The navigation does the job. Die Slave is almost self-explanatory, but it would have been helpful if it had English documentation. The in-game interface could use a little work (probably unreadable on English-language computers).
Graphics: 9/10 The graphics are spectacular.
Sounds: 8/10 The sounds can start to feel monotonous after a while, but the background music covers up for it.
Game-play: 9/10 Die Slave is one of the most fun games I have played. If only the difficulty levels were more balanced
Lasting Appeal: 9/10 If youre up to a challenge, Die Slave is for you. The hardest difficulty level, Ragnarok, is nearly impossible. Die Slave is short with only 6 stages, but the difficulty balances this out.
The Rating: 9/10 A nearly perfect shooter.

Fireworks II
Fireworks 2 is a lot like Fireworks. You still control a barrel of fireworks which can be shot at your enemies. The game still has nice graphics and sound. The main difference is that there are 5 new levels and the graphics are completely different. In addition, the game becomes progressively harder and health bonuses are occassionally given. Those who enjoyed Fireworks will probably like Fireworks II.
