Memory
With cool OpenGL 3D graphics and heavy mp3 technobeat pumping in the background, the traditional memory game feels ancient and dull. This is a memory game for the new age people! I have no complaints about the game other than it's somewhat hard to view the objects of the cards, and the indicator or the time limit is not obvious. The game has a setup with 1-4 players (with a combo of human/computer players). You can also add your own mp3 music to the game. One bug that I found: With screen resolution 1024x768 the mouse cursor is not syncted with the game's cursor - they are apart (nothing vital for the game play though).

MindArms
MindArms is a great 2D fighter, one of the best freeware fighting games I've played! It's got smooth character animations, a gameplay style that anyone can grasp after only a few minutes of play, and catchy music. What more do you need? A more in-depth review? Ok...read on! MindArms' gameplay is fast, fun, and easy to learn. Unlike the complicated button presses used for special moves in games like Street Fighter, MindArms' special attacks are executed by pressing only a couple of keys in order. But don't think that you can just perform one attack over and over again to win; the AI is fairly aggressive compared to what is found in other freeware fighters, even if it won't offer a great challenge. MindArms has only five characters available from the start, but each is very unique (most fighting games like to use variations of the same character and give them different names), though the small roster of fighters may annoy some. It must also be noted that the game uses a distinctly Japanese style. I think that three of the characters are guys and the other two are girls, but I wouldn't be surprised if I was wrong. You won't find any big, muscular guys in this game, just girly men. MindArms' graphics are very good, and could compete with most 2D commercial fighting games on the market today. Also, the character animations are very fluid, and could easily beat most 2D commercial fighting games. Without a doubt, MindArms is real eye candy. MindArms' sound is the average stuff you would find in any other fighting game, and the music is slightly above average. The game's got some catchy tunes, but none that really stand out. Needless to say, you won't be annoyed by MindArms' sound and music, but you won't be amazed, either.Overall, MindArms is a great fighting game, one of the best fighting games you can download for free. If you don't think you'll be annoyed by the Japanese style or small roster of fighters, MindArms is worth the download. Also, at only 5 MB, it beats the filesize of most free 2D Japanese fighters by a mile! MindArms may not be quite as good as, say, Fighters Kyodotai, but are you willing to download an 80 MB fighter that's only a bit better than a 9 MB fighter? If not, then MindArms is worth your time.
UPDATE: New character added: Eiger

Possible Worlds
Possible Worlds was created as a programming project by two students at the University of Vienna. After a somewhat parodic introduction, the actual gameplay begins. The story of the game is in essense about the American forces who has to engage in a military campaign to combat the Alien sea-stations. Each mission is slightly different, but its core is always to survey and distroy all alien life forms. The 3D underwater world is nicely rendered and the explosion in the sand is cool. However, after playing for a while the excitement never reached the heights that I was wishing for. Read the files in the Docs folder for the game instructions (in English).

Prairie Dog Hunt PRO
This game is a few years but recently fairly released as freeware. The goal is simple; You aim at and shot down as many prarie dogs you can before you run out of ammo. The game has gory content but if you are not sensitive about that, then you will enjoy this virtual hunting game. There are many options available, such as the game speed and number of dogs on the field.
