The Adventures of Mark B
Full Title: The Adventures of Mark Basehore. This game was originally designed as gift for the author's friend. Despite the confusing events, the game is very entertaining. Your job is to save the world from aliens.

The Line Continues
The Line Continues is one of those strange games that you really must play for yourself to understand. I suspect only half the people reading this review will have an accurate mental picture of this game by the time my review is done. Surprisingly, the developer is Italian, not Japanese, but the game's still weird enough anyways. First, I must explain the graphics, or you will never be able to imagine what the game's actually like. Everything in the game is made up of curvy green lines, and the game is very stylized. Everything in the world is constantly morphing. The graphics are very good and very creative. In The Line Continues, you play as a little dude made of circles and...something coming out of his head. You walk continuously on a never-ending, green line, avoiding many obstacles and enemies. The line slowly deteriorates, so you can't stay in the same place for too long. The enemies will instantly form out of the line, and will try to trap you, kill you, or swallow you. You can either turn into a flying blob (for a short period of time) and jump over the enemy, "flatten" the line by pulling on it, or stand on the bottom of the line until the enemy passes. Some abilities work better on a certain enemy than on others. As you progress further through the game, you can get special abilities, like a nuke that violently shakes the line and destroys all enemies on it. The music is ripped from another strange game, Vib Ribbon. Some of the music is ok, but other music is simply maddening, and all of it's sung in a high voice. This game is the epitomy of abstract! So, since I can't paint an elaborate picture of the game's structure, I might as well tell you how fun the game is. The Line Continues is very well-crafted. It's fun and addictive, and irresistably unique! No, it's not the best game ever, but it's definitely very good. Worth the download, to be sure.

The Snowball Action Puzzle
What is a game like with the confusing title The Snowball Action Puzzle? The game itself is just as unorthodox as the tittle is enigmatic. Here we have ducks combatting each other with snowballs in a wintery landscape. The 3D landscape and gloomy sky are animated and constantly shifting in colors and shadowing. Your mission is to get all ducks out of health. The battle is not plainly about throwing snowball, but you also have helpful powerups. You can easily be bombarded to death if you make tactical errors because the ducks have a certain amount of intelligence. Mission 1 (level 1) is pretty much an easy warm-up for Mission 2 which has a treasure chest that is not easy to reach. Of course you need to figure out how to lower the pedestals early in Mission 1... I believe that to fully enjoy this cool game you need to be young at heart.
Note: This updated version was especially created for Gamehippo.com, and it comes with an English description of all the missions.

Toubou
This game is significantly different from most games I have played. The most inanticipated and coolest feature in this game is that of the animated character that you control as you try to dodge the rolling balls of various colors. The character in the game is very human alike and with terrific graphical precision.
Toubou resembles another GameMaker game called Plastic Kitten (also listed in gamehippo). Access the nicely created in-game menu for further game instruction. One user has pointed out that this game has been inspired by a Playstation game called Kurishi.

Tower of the Sorcerer
Help, I can't stop playing this RPG - it's fun, challenging and addictive! Rescue the beautiful princess (she's hidden somewhere in the Sorcerer's tower). Battle zombies, vampires, skeletons, demonic priests, and more. Use keys, elixirs, magic orbs, and many other objects. Use gold to buy items or to increase your strength (by offering it to the altar). Interact with characters to get information and objects. There are 50 stages. Features include mouse or keyboard control, save/load game, help, tips, and a high scores list. Speed, size, and font are adjustable.
Tower of the Sorcerer requires logic, problem-solving skills, and patience. Some parts might seem impossible, but they can be done. Here are a few hints to get you started: Get the sword from the 5th floor and the shield from the 9th floor FIRST! Be patient after encountering the "Magic Sergeant Zeno"; the game appears to be over, but it's not.
NOTES:The English used in this game is occasionally hard to understand because Tower of the Sorceror was made by Japanese programmers. It's a minor nuisance that doesn't really interfere with the game. ALSO, the help section within the game is in Japanese; but the help section on the start menu is in English (Start-> Programs-> Tower of the Sorcerer).
